Beautiful black and white double ikat hand-dyed and hand-woven cotton from India, is naturally blurry in a charming way. Double ikat is a technique in which both the warp and weft threads are resist-dyed prior to weaving, and so is often more expensive. Some of the most interesting and soulful fabrics are coming out of India today where hand made textile traditions continue. Light weight, opaque with a lightly textured appealing cool hand, airy drape and a 8½" repeat. Just right for a tunic, shirt, jacket, vest, dress, skirt or soft pants.
