Classic and modern red and black double knit plaid, deadstock from designer
Corey Lynn Calter, produced in France. Mid weight with a bit of loft, but not at all thick or heavy, opaque, with a lightly textured hand, 4 way stretch with good recovery, malleable sculptural drape and no rolling at the cut edge so it will be easy to cut and sew. Reverses to marled melange of gray, red, black. This is a balance woven in plaid with a 3" repeat. Right for a t-shirt, tunic, sweater, jacket, dress, pant, jumpsuit or skirt. Love that it has black in it so it will work well with black basics and is ideal for travel.
